How to get rid of a plantar wart
A plantar wart may cause sharp pain when you walk, or you may not even notice it and it will disappear by itself in a few months.

Never try to cut out the wart with a blade as it might bleed, become infected, or even spread. If it is bothering you, medication or freezing treatments may be useful. Anti-wart medications – available in gel, liquid, or dressing form – will gradually remove the layers of the wart.
• Before applying a medication, soften the wart by soaking the foot in warm or hot water for five minutes.
• Dry the foot.
• Protect the skin around the wart with petroleum jelly or clear nail polish.
• Apply the medication, following the directions to the letter.
• Cover the area with a bandage.
• Wash your hands to avoid contamination.
Some medications are not appropriate for certain people, including those with diabetes or circulatory problems. Ask your pharmacist to help you choose an effective product. You can also find information on Brunet.ca, because YOUR HEALTH IS ALL THAT MATTERS!
