Brunet Jonquière location fully renovated after an $895,000 investment

Jonquière, June 8, 2018 – Pharmacist owners Pascal Néron and Michaël Voisine, as well as McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique Inc., the Brunet banner franchisor, today proudly celebrated the end of major renovations at the Brunet Jonquière location, at 3739 Royaume Blvd. With more choice, more space and more services, the establishment now offers its customers the banner’s latest concept.

“We are pleased to be growing our presence in the Saguenay region, especially in Jonquière,” stated Luc Martinovitch, Senior Vice President, Brunet and McMahon. “Converting establishments to the “pharmacy of the future” concept means we can offer our customers an enhanced experience in terms of store setup, products and services.”

Renovated at a cost of $895,000 and approximately 434 m2 (4,668 ft2) in size, the location offers a wide variety of products, as well as a range of personalized services, all in a streamlined decor designed for comfort. Every aspect of the design — from the lighting and waiting area to the ceiling height and signs — was carefully considered to make the customer experience as pleasant as possible.

“On the pharmacy side, the main element is undoubtedly the laboratory’s more practical layout, as well as our new consultation offices, an improved skin care and cosmetics section, and the new establishment layout,” added Mr. Martinovitch. Customers will spend less time waiting and more time interacting with the pharmacists to get expert advice.”

To better meet the public’s needs, the location also offers many complementary services, including personalized consultations, pillbox preparation, monitoring of blood pressure and other chronic conditions, renewal applications, as well as orthopaedic and ostomy products.
On the store side, the dermocosmetics section now offers a wider range of products, as well as brands like Pupa, Nuxe, Vichy and Maison Jacynthe, for which Brunet holds exclusive sales rights in the Saguenay region. In addition, all sections have new signs that make getting around the store and locating products much easier.

“I am delighted to unveil our new pharmacy today and I am proud to have been contributing to the health and well-being of the people of Jonquière and the surrounding areas every day for nearly 15 years,” said pharmacist owner Pascal Néron. “What our team wants now is to offer our customers an enhanced health experience at all levels,” added Michaël Voisine, also a pharmacist owner.
